Join Laura Kennedy, Executive Director of Admission, for an overview of the programs and offerings of Savannah College of Art and Design, the most comprehensive, accredited nonprofit art and design university in the U.S. SCAD is known as The University for Creative Careers with over 100 degree programs at locations in Savannah, Atlanta, France, and through SCADnow online programs. At all locations, students learn from renowned professors and gain real-world experience through SCADpro projects, partnering with business leaders from companies like Google, YouTube, Volvo, BMW, Microsoft, Disney, and more to design creative solutions for real-world business challenges.
In this virtual visit Laura will share how SCAD supports and prepares students for creative careers as evidenced by a 99% employment rate for five years in a row. Laura will also provide details on pre-college programs and the admission application process including information on scholarships and financial aid. Join us Tuesday, December 6

Mr. Mike Cline’s evolution into the tech space all started with a Tandy TSR-80 (one of the first home computers available) that he first played with until becoming bored and then tearing it apart! From there, it was all downhill; Visual Basic apps, tech support, programming, database engineering, remote system administration and then becoming technical ninja for online marketing processes. Join us for On Air: The Future of Careers as we interview Dr. Elizabeth Phillips, the co-creator of the
Anthropomorphic RoBOT (ABOT) database, a collection of images of and data about real-world human-like robots. Her research focuses on human interaction with robots, autonomous systems, and related technologies like augmented and virtual reality. She will share with us her journey to become an Assistant Professor and Robot Researcher, her passion for robotics and how students like you can get involved in this field, even if your passion is people and social sciences!
Have you ever wondered who decides the music behind your favorite video game? Have you ever wondered how the cheering of the fans in the stands of your favorite football game can sound so lifelike? Aaron Cendan is a Senior Technical Audio Designer for Relic Entertainment, SEGA's studio in Vancouver BC, and is currently working on games like Age of Empires and Company of Heroes. Aaron will be joining us for our new webcast series “On Air: The Future of Careers Student Webcast”.
