Outstanding FLVS Educators Accept Governor’s Shine Award

Florida Virtual School (FLVS) Instructional Leader Jason Odom of Gainesville, and Assistant Principal Wilbern Simpson of Lakeland, were among eight educators recognized by Governor Rick Scott who received the Governor’s Shine Award. This award is presented to teachers and administrators in Florida who make significant contributions to the field of education. Both Odom and Simpson certainly fall under that category.
